After a lot of internal discussion we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the Spring season for most of our FSPA leagues. Carpool, MOM’s, Ocelot, Silverball Sanctum, and Spinners leagues will be ending their seasons, VÜK’s Spring season will remain in suspended status for the foreseeable future until they are able to resume. For those leagues canceling, we hope to be able to resume play with the Summer or Fall seasons. Obviously until we get through this and start to get an idea of when we might be able to get back to a semblance of normalcy, it’s difficult to say when we’ll be able to start and if we’ll be able to adhere to the same schedules. Stay tuned for more announcements at some point in the future around that.
So, what does this mean from a practical standpoint?
1) For those leagues canceling, we will submit “final standings” as of the last week played for submission to IFPA.
2) For leagues canceling, no prizes or trophies will be given out for this season. In lieu of prizes we will carry forward dues paid for this season to the next season. So, if you were paid in full for the Spring season, you’ll get the Summer or Fall for free, whichever is the next season.
3) That said, for *all* leagues, if anybody would prefer to get a full refund of their dues paid instead of allowing the dues to carry forward to the next season or in VÜK’s case, continuing on, we are offering that option as well.
